VoNCon aims  to bring people together and help reduce loneliness and isolation by organising regular boardgaming, tabletop and role playing events in the Vale of Neath and surrounding areas. Our project Fostering Friendships through Tabletop Gaming is all about creating warm and inclusive environments, where individuals can connect naturally through the shared experience of tabletop gaming.

We hire local community spaces, give access to a carefully curated board game library and have friendly, knowledgeable volunteers on hand to help teach games, getting you playing quickly and effortlessly. By putting board games on the table, we take the focus off the individual and remove the stress of small talk - allowing participants to engage with one another effortlessly and enjoyably.

Our project is more than just about playing games; it’s about building community and connection, and providing a space for people to create lasting memories and building meaningful relationships. At VoNCon we believe in the power of games to bring people together, break down social barriers and foster genuine friendships.
